Here is what I am working on this week in the legislature: (1-16 through 1-20-12) On Monday (3PM in room WW55), Senate Education Committee will be discussion legislation having to do with parents’ role in evaluating teacher performance. Also, I will be Chairing Senate State Affairs Committee as we address “rules review” this Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (starts at 8AM in room WW55). Rules review is the process where legislators evaluate the “rules” (or actions) written and implemented by state government agencies over the last year. If you have interest you are welcome to stop in, listen and even provide testimony if you wish! Please say hello if you do!
